  • Flow through a Vinyasa sequence, focusing on the Pranic sensations in the body
  • Practice some pranayama (breath control) and meditation
  • Enjoy our cosy, sanctuary space, infused with essential oils, to support our journey
  • Share our energy through practice with other likeminded dedicated Yogis
  • Feel release, renewal and inspiration for the new year ahead

About Your Teacher:

Anna is a Yoga teacher, a writer and the founder of Active Sanctuary Yoga. She has been practicing Yoga for the past ten years. Having a background in professional martial arts, Anna chose Yoga seeking to stretch and heal her body as well as release tension and stress. ​

Originally from Russia, Anna migrated with her family to Israel at a young age where she grew up and completed her first Yoga teacher training in 2012. Later, Anna travelled the world and learned from many great teachers mainly in: Israel, India, Russia, France and Australia. Anna has been teaching Yoga full-time in Melbourne since 2015 and in January 2018 she opened our beautiful studio, Active Sanctuary Yoga

Anna believes that the Yoga practice allows deep observation to the simplest of things in life and that is why it offers such great joy and a sense of fulfilment. She sees the mat as an active sanctuary where she can truly connect to herself.

Anna enjoys sharing her passion for the practice through teaching. Her classes are challenging for the body and the mind; they will leave you inspired and allow a sense of release.
