Active Sanctuary Yoga is proud to introduce a meditation course, based on the Yogi tradition of bringing the mind to stillness. This course is relied on Yoga philosophy the way it is presented in our most canonical text: The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
Why should you join us for this journey?
- In this four week course you will learn everything you need to know in order to start a regular meditation practice with a group or on your own.
- You will receive lots of exercises to help you enter the state of meditation and retain it for longer.
- You will learn meditation traditionally, in a Sangha (small group of practitioners), and receive tools that will help you understand any other style of meditation you will encounter in the future.
- Get double the time for your practice if you stay for our ‘Meditation By Donation’ regular class, straight after the course each Sunday!
Date and time: Four Sunday sessions 04:30-05:30 PM, starting Sunday, June 16th.
*You are welcome to stay after the session for another 45 minutes of meditation practice, as part of our regular Meditation By Donation weekly class.
