In this specially designed 4 week course, our experienced teacher Camille will take you through a journey to learn how to meditate step by step using several meditation and mindfulness techniques.

The course will run in four, weekly, 90 minutes long sessions in which we will explore as follows:

Week 1 – Wednesday, September 19th, 07:30 – 09:00 PM

What is meditation? – Understanding meditation and how it works.

Week 2 – Wednesday, September 26th, 07:30 – 09:00 PM

How to meditate? – How to overcome the misconceptions that make meditation seem challenging?

Week 3 – Wednesday, October 3rd, 07:30 – 09:00 PM

How to manage thoughts and emotions? – Tips and tools.

Week 4 – Wednesday, October 10th, 07:30 – 09:00 PM

How to develop a regular mindfulness and meditation practice? – How to apply the tools of meditation to everyday life.

No prior experience in Yoga or Meditation is required to participate!

Investment: $100. 15% For ASY members.

Course participants are also encouraged to join our weekly Meditation by Donation classes on Sundays 04:30 PM to enhance their practice.

About your teacher:

Camille Abbott is a certified Meditation Teacher through the Meditation Association of Australia, Life Coach , Yoga Teacher and Floatation Therapy Specialist.
Having spent over 20 years struggling with severe anxiety, her breakthrough came during her own meditation practice, when she realised that she was able to simply step back and witness her thoughts and rewire her own way of thinking, which then completely changed her life. Since then, she can’t stop talking about the healing benefits of meditation and lives and breathes it in every area of her life.
When it comes to meditation, having studied a number of practices from Buddhism to Transcendental, Camille believes that not one size fits all and that learning a number of different and simple techniques allows you to always have a tool available to help you create more calm, in any situation, in any moment.

With over 8 years of knowledge and experience on the subjects of Self Enquiry & Self Awareness, Camille’s meditation classes are an open space for learning, connection, relaxation, awakening, and self-love.
